Explaining about mental health

I'm hoping to return to part time work, but have had some mental health issues while at home as a SAHM. I could simply explain my time away from the workplace as being home with the children, but that wouldn't be the whole story. Does anyone have advice about what to do in this situation, if your health seems stable, do you have to mention it? I haven't worked for years and then you had to mention a medical history (if you have ever had...) but now I think it asks if you have (at present) which I could presumably say 'no' to.

Hoping to just do some non stressful part temp work so not too much responsibility so can't see it being a problem. It was more a career in teaching which brought me to the edge before. But not going back into that, and don't want to put iff any potential employers. Thanks.

Unless you are asking for a reasonable adjustment for a disability then you don't need to say anything at all.

Thanks, yes just having a look online, seems since 2010 things changed. Haven't applied for anything since before then.
