Urgent help needed with covering letter

My DD is applying for a job and her cv looks a bit iffy . One job she didn't complete her probation due to catching glandular fever and the next job they let her go after one month due to a reshuffle ( they apologised for employing her and then doing this to her). How should she word the covering letter to explain this , my minds gone blank !

Deadline looming so any help much appreciated.

Covering letter is about the job she’s applying for rather than explaining th cv. She should pull out her relevant skills and experience and explai why she’d be great

How much experience does she have? The month long job i would describe as temping!

She has 3 years experience in an admin role from when she was 16 , then 3 months in a job she hated (caught glandular fever and didn't make it through the probation ) then 1 month in admin and then they told her they were rearranging the office and she wouldn't be needed .

She has to be honest in her cv as one of the interviewers is our neighbour !
