Change of contract

Can my employer make a change to my contract if I do not agree? We are subject to TUPE transfer and my new employers of 2 years are cutting contractual hours and therefore pay. They are not stating it is for an ETO reason but because they believe it is not industry standard.

I've come to understand that what employers "are allowed" to do, and what they do do, might not be the same thing.

If you are in a union, then that would be your first port of call.
If you aren't, is there one you can join ?
ACAS will often advise on disputes too.

Thankfully yes, I'm a union member. Unfortunately they are slow in reply.
