I have a worrying issue that Im hoping for some help. I work for a childcare provider, in feb 2016, had a letter stating they were folding the company and starting a new one. The result of this is that the name changed, but our jobs stayed the same, and went from one contract to another. 9 months later, had a redundancy pay of £1800 for redundancy pay from the previous company. Roll on nearly 2 years later, out of the blue, had a letter from the gov insolvency asking for the money back! stating I wasnt entitiled to it!! Can anyone give me advice?
