The organisation I work at sends out updates on all the promotions and new starts within management. They have included all new starts in my team and others in the business, however they haven’t included me.
All those included are male. I have worked hard to get to where I am and have often had to struggle to prove my worth in a male dominated area. I am assuming it is an oversight but thought i should ask to be included in next edition.
However I don’t want to appear petty etc. There have been some who have not wanted me to be in the position I am in, so there could also have been a reason that I have been omitted. Part of me thinks I should just leave it, part of me thinks I should say something to not appear a push over.
Any thoughts? Thank you.

I'd like to think it's a genuine oversight, but I couldn't let it go, I would ask for my promotion to be included in the next edition.

Thanks, that’s kind of where I am coming from. I thought I would word it very nicely and say it is great that there is this update etc and hope that I can be included next time so that people know my role and my dept. etc. Thank you for responding.

Do they include a little blurb about you? If so you could send some wording for the next addition just assuming that it's been forgotten and is an oversight. Like a man would.

Just ask - it sounds like an admin error (and I betcha any many they forgot would make a fuss and be included in the next edition!)
