So, I've done my school based job for a lot of years and as a family we could really use me working full time now not three days. There isn't the opportunity where I am and moving elsewhere in the same role would mean a fair pay cut, my contract is old/unique.
There is a part of me that thinks a move into the the general world of work could lead to a career to build up too.
My children are 11 and 6,
I am an over thinker, so have naturally thought I'm doing my six year old a disservice my potentially putting him into childcare for holidays, when I didn't do that with his sibling.
Has anyone else made this move? How did you manage the move? Did you miss the holidays?
