Hoping someone can help as I can’t find an answer on google!
The contract I work on is due for re-tender in approx 1.5 years.
I know I will be eligible for TUPE,
However I am due to go on Maternity leave later this year and hope to return part time. I currently work full time
When I return it will be around 6 months before the transfer- will I still be able to negotiate part time hours?
I believe there are restrictions so the your previous employer doesn’t change conditions prior to transfer.
For example they couldn’t give out big pay rises which the new employee would have to take on.
I don’t want to ask HR because I don’t want to tell them my intention to reduce my hours yet.
