I’ve started a new job about 2 months ago and I really don’t like it.
The work is similar to my
Old job as it’s the same line of work.

I hate the fact we get scorecarded for timescales, it’s very clicky as it’s such a small team, certain staff get certain allowances early finishes and flexible start times. I find the manager quite unprofessional in their approach with how they speak to people and put points across.

My old job did not want me to go and I liked it there but It was a secondment and I may of had to go back to my original place which I did not like as the hours weren’t family friendly.

I feel like calling up my old supervisor and asking if I could have my job back as they were flexible, allowed us to have flexible working hours and were professional in the workplace. I feel like I’ve made a huge mistake but didn’t have much choice but to leave either.

Would you stick it out or try and get your old job back. Advice?? Sad

Usually when there's a "I've changed jobs and made a huge mistake" thread the poster has only been there a couple weeks or so. I know it took me a good month to settle into my current job. But you've done two months, and you still hate it - you've nothing to lose by calling your old supervisor. You have nothing to lose - if the supervisor says no then you're no worse off than you are now, and will just have to concentrate on finding another new job.
