I'm hoping to get some advice on work/jobs. Until recently I was a teacher of 6 years. However, upon disclosure of my ongoing fertility treatment I was put under a lot of pressure in my role and felt no option but to leave. My fertility treatment was due to ramp up and I knew the pressure within school/lack of support from Headteacher/stress and bullying that I would continue to experience would only hinder my chances of conception success. I'm pleased to say that treatment worked and thankfully I am now 12 weeks pregnant and doing well. Since then I have tried to obtain temporary admin work (was reluctant to step back into the class room as a supply teacher due to those difficult experiences). However, I live in North Yorkshire and unfortunately work has been few and far between during the summer months. I'm ready to try supply teaching in the autumn term but wondered whether anyone could suggest ideas as to employment options during my pregnant months until I find teaching work. I'm due in February, feel fine - very little nausea and very much want and financially need to work. I have signed up to agencies in my town and neighbouring towns but there just does not seem to be much temp work around. Any suggestions would be really appreciated - TIA!
