New starter after 3 years

Been out of the workplace for 3 years , just did retail/bar work before and am going into NHS admin work very soon.
Any tips for me?

You'll be fine. Normally with nhs lots of mandatory training to ease u in. Ive had lots of roles with nhs

Hello, with my HR hat on I would stress to you that your attitude rather than your specific knowledge of the systems etc is going to be most important. Go in there being positive and willing to learn. Never pretend you understand if you don't, smile and be a great person to have around.

PS - we always joke that is compulsory to have new shoes if you get a new job ;) It is however great to have something new or that you feel special in to give you that first day confidence boost.

Three years isnt so long. Do you have access to a computer to practice some basic office style sofware like Word? Assuming you were going back to an admin role. Otherwise Dorisdances is right. Attitude trumps everythingn
