Hi there. I am looking for some advise or what to expect from the HR advisors of the company I work for.
Im 22 weeks pregnant due to go on maternity on the 29th week. Ive been extremely ill during my pregnancy and have mainly been on sick leave and taken holiday.
I get paid weekly so my understanding is that they will work out my earnings from week 17 -25 of pregnancy to see if im entitled to maternity and what I will receive.
Yesterday i got a doctors note for the next 4 weeks, but asked my boss if I could take 2 days holiday for the up coming 3 weeks as it works out more money than sick pay which from my workings out will allow me to have my maternity pay. Where as I wont earn enough for maternity if I just receive sick pay money.
