How to work in children's services without a social work degree?

I'm a qualified teacher with more recent experience of working with vulnerable children than actual teaching. Does anyone know if there is any way into working in children's services without doing the SW degree?

Family Support Worker role could be an option, some local authorities do a step-up program for those with relevant experience and a degree. You could start in admin or similar and then apply internally for those
