Written on behalf of my Mum and soon to be Granny (November)...
My Mum has been working as an attendance officer for almost 15 years at the same secondary school and has hit a bit of a wall. There are no progression opportunities and her salary is going nowhere. She's hesitant to leave as she loves the freedom of TTO but is coming to realise that she may have to venture to pastures new.
Previously worked in Customer Service, Admin, Exams and then her recent role. Very bubbly and 'take no crap' attitude. All the kids that hate school and all their teachers seem to love her.
She's happy to 'try something new' but I'm stuck on why to suggest to her... any ideas?!
