Gender pay review - how long should it take?

I asked my HR director a month ago to carry out a Gender Pay review as I am fairly certain my male colleagues (all my colleagues are male!) are being paid more than me for the same job.

After chasing her she has come back to me and said she is busy and will not be able to start the review until mid-August.

Is there any legal requirement for them to complete this in a specific time period or do I just have to wait. They don't employ more than 250 people in the UK so have not statutory requirement to complete a whole company review.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Go on the ACAS website and search for equal pay - it should give advice on the current process.

I'd already tried that and couldn't find anything. If you have a link that would be great, Thanks!

I'm currently on holiday, so no links just now!
