Hi, how much have you paid someone to write SEO web content for your website?
Have you paid them per page/day/word? How much for blogs?
I'm looking to set up my own copywriting service and wondered what others are charging.

It varies depending on the piece of content to be honest - but I would typically prefer to pay per piece of content rather than per word/time. For SEO content purposes, do you also intend to conduct the key word research, or would you ask your clients to provide this for you? For a 400 - 600 word blog, optimised for SEO, I'd be prepared to pay anything from £250 to £600. It depends on the size/budget of your client to a large degree, and the value that your work delivers to their business. Agencies I've worked for in the past would typically charge their clients around £450 per day of complete work.

LadyGrey That seems extremely high. If businesses would go to individual writers rather than using agencies, they'd find the same quality of work for much less.

I know a lot of people want a package...but it's possible to get an expert on-board for the tech stuff and they will upload the writing which you've bought direct from a lone writer.
