New job?

I have been offered a new job with a really good pay increase after spending time and money getting a qualification. I was happy when they offered me the job but now I'm starting to get cold feet. Before having my kids I was really confident and what you might call a 'go getter'. After having kids I'm a lot more cautious about everything and people at work see me as friendly, helpful while they're learning what I know, but not very good and tend to ask other people for help with big tasks. The interview was good and the job seems like a good fit but I'm worried that I'd start the job, they'll realize I'm a bit rubbish and get rid of me during my probation period.
Is it worth taking the risk of leaving a safe job for a new opportunity? Has anyone else done something similar?
