Hi -quick summary before I go off to work:, my youngest son is in the first year of 6th form, academically quite bright, he is talking about leaving school now and starting an apprenticeship (he has picked out plumbing) as he wants to do something "practical". We have discussed that it is his choice and we will support him. (my eldest did an apprenticeship, middle one currently at uni).
