Hi Everyone, just looking for some unbiased feedback about directions i can go in work-wise once i am ready to get back into a career.

I recently left a design job working for a local council to have my baby and will soon be starting to get back into work.

I don't want to go back to the same job for various reasons and i do not officially have a role to go back to anyway.

My work history is technical/creative so landscape design, park management, school playground design and maintenance etc. i am a CAD artist and work mainly in 3D design.

i would love to end up back doing design work but these jobs are few and far between and there are not many where i live in east anglia. in a ideal world i would freelance or work remotly. I don't want to move house.

I would be happy to retrain (as long as it didnt take years (i considered engineering) or indeed start at the bottom as a junior designer or whatever as long as there was a career there in the future and the work was creative.

I am IT literate, have a degree in a design subject, skilled (or can easily become skilled) in most design packages. areas i am looking in are.

Playground design
Games environment artist
landscape design
artworker jobs

basically anything that involves design using CAD/design software ideally online/remote/freelance.

Does anyone know of any resources where such jobs can be found or if not a good starting place for training towards a similar job?

Thanks
