Hi Everyone!
It's a while before I go on mat leave, however it is my absolute dream to be able to start my own business while on it and hopefully succeed from there! Have any of you done this? What are your business ideas? Look forward to hearing your stories!!!

I run a vaguely successful confetti company, it's not enough to give up my day job, but it's something I enjoy and it's oddly therapeutic. I have sort of a standard range, but I do a lot of custom orders too. So it keeps me busy. I have eventual plans to expand into other lines, but for now, I'm just focusing on expanding the core range and increasing my sales.

What sort of thing were you thinking about starting up?
