Try your local Citizens Advice? www.citizensadvice.org.uk/
And stop doing any work without a contract...

I would ring them, speak to your manager or payroll. Maybe the payroll date is next week, not all companies pay at the end of the month.good luck.

seriousone · 01/06/2018 16:25

Hi
The paydate was defentily the 30th and ive tried contacting them without a response,iy is a small company two manager's that do their own pay role

Does nobody answer the phone?

HermioneWeasley · 01/06/2018 20:52

Do you have any proof you worked?

HeadsDownThumbsUpEveryone · 01/06/2018 20:55

If you had no contract I would say your very unlikely to get the money. Without proof of employment and terms of contract they could just argue it was voluntary and you have no proof to the contrary. Sorry its not what you want to hear but I don't think your odds of being paid are high. Sad

seriousone · 01/06/2018 21:42

Hermione, the only proff I have is rota showing my name but that doesn't prove anything does it...
Headsup unfortunately im thinking the same that I wont get the money sadlyHmm

Hound them, by phone and email every day. And you'll have a better chance. If they don't acknowledge or respond to your emails then send a formal tone one telling them unless they pay you monies owed you will be seeking legal advice.

Sounds dramatic but it happened to me once with a recruitment agency. They paid in the end. Don't let them away with it! Your time is precious, they don't get it for nothing!
