redundancy help

We are a team of 3. Around 6 weeks ago 2 of us asked for a raise, at the same time and with the same reasons and evidence to back us up. Last week the other person was given confirmation of a significant raise. Yesterday we heard that one of the 3 of us will be made redundant. When I asked why I had not heard back about the raise but my teammate had I was told all negotiations are put on hold.
My question is this, surely they have already decided she is safe since the CEO and head of HR decided to award her a raise. So it's really between me and the third person on the team since I haven't heard back. Is this legal? Are they breaking any laws? What can I do?

Sorry not to drip feed but around the time I asked for a raise I was also diagnosed with depression and anxiety and started to work from home more often. Everyone in the company is entitled to do this as long as they inform their managers so I wasn't getting any special adjustments made.
