I'm looking round for an alternative to my present job in local government, as I expect there to be some fairly major cut-backs in the new year.
Is anyone an interim manager? I read an article in the London Evening Standard tonight, but can't work out how much work is about and whether it actually fits in with having children - some of the articles I have read seem to suggest it can be quite flexible, so that you can choose to work term-time only, but I am not sure whether it is really possible to work in this way.
