I recently had a baby and returned to work in a new job on the 28th March.
I handed my notice in at my old work who was paying me SMP and my final working day with my old company was 23rd March.
They have told me that I wasn’t entitled to any SMP as I had left the business - however I was under the impression they would have had to pay me SMP until my final day.
Does anyone know if this is the case please?
