Anyone else nervous about starting a new job

Has anyone else feel nervous or worried when starting a new job. Worried i wont be good enough

I think it's normal to feel that way. It's usually ok once you've actually started. Never as bad as you think.

Yes, I am feeling very nervous.
I start my new job in a week, after being in my current role for 12 years.

I am in the same boat starting a new job after 11 years in my current role. I'm so scared it's keeping me awake at night

Bless you i have been a bit like that but i tell myself to stop it. Its just the change thing isnt it thats what makes it feel massive x

Totally normal to feel that. I find I feel a tad uneasy for a month or so until I settle in. Good luck hope all goes well. Have confidence in yourself.

I started a new job at the start of the year. It was forced on me as my old company went into liquidation so I room the first job I found in a panic!!
Luckily for me that job was with a lovely company with lovely people and I soon settled in!!

Last time I started a job I was early 20s and felt like there was a lot less at stake! Thanks for the positive stories - agree need to be confident
