Hello.
I worked in cards shop for 3y then I got pregnant. My child was born in Feb 2017.
My maternity pay started January 2017 - January 2018. (Only 39weeks so from October I didnt get any more money).
In February I came back to work but just for 3weeks because I got from March new job in Aldi. Work is really hard (carry heavy things) I'm doing night shift. Today I find out that I am pregnant again. What should I do ? I am thinking to leave my job because is dangerous for my baby. But what about maternity pay ? Do I get it from job centre when I will be 29weeks pregnant? Because almost all last year I been on maternity also.
Thanks

No idea about the pay but tell them you’re pregnant and they should do a risk assessment which may limit task you do at work

Did you have a period after starting at Aldi? If yes you will get SMP from them as you have to have been in work 1 week before falling pregnant to qualify with pregnancy starting on first day of LMP.
Yes tell them you are pregnant they should do a risk assessment and stop you doing any work that could put you or the baby at risk.

For your peace of mind OP lifting isn't dangerous for the baby, its advised against in pregnancy as over time ligaments etc become looser making it easier to pull.
