How to be a Virtual Assistant

Hello!

I'm one of the female entrepreneurs from Make it your Business - Catherine Gladwyn - so wanted to pop on to say 'hello!'.

I'm a Virtual Assistant and also author of the book 'How to be a Virtual Assistant' to help others start and run their own successful VA business.

I've noticed one question that keeps popping up is 'what to name your business'. Here's some ideas:

  1. Your name followed by the service you provide
(e.g. Catherine Gladwyn - Virtual Assistant)
  1. Write a list of your favourite things in life (colours, flowers, people, food, books, authors, children, everything) and think about whether they could be incorporated into a business name.
(e.g. Magnolia Virtual Assistance)
  1. Think about the problems your service / business solves and use that in some way.
(e.g. Productivity VA)

If anyone has any questions about starting their own business, let me know - I will help wherever I can or direct you elsewhere if I can't.
