And still secure an interview....

'Reason for leaving last post:-'

Honestly, the reason I left my last job, which I loved, was because I had a nervous breakdown. I haven't worked for 2yrs since and have required a lot of help, but have gradually got back to the place where I now have a diagnosis and feel ready to return to work... But that isn't attractive to a prospective employer!

I'm really torn, I certainly don't want to lie, butit's embarrassing to be honest, and I really want to be given a chance. Health issues aside, i'm a bloody hard worker and good at my job.

I can't leave it blank either. Help!

"Health issues which are now resolved and unlikely to reoccur" or (if more accurate) "Health issues which were at the time undiagnosed and uncontrolled but which are now understood and with correct management will not cause any significant reoccurrence"

That sounds reasonable. I AM happy to explain, but rather face to fact than over an online application.

I suppose i'm embarrassed about it. I don't want to seem like a 'risk'.
