I am sure this might be a topic quite spoken about in mumsnet. But I was unable to find any recent threads to get an answer.
So my query is about PGCE secondary SCITT training. This is something I had wanted to do for a really longgggg time, but the timing was never right. I am a mum with 2 kids 6 and 2.5. And I was wondering if sep 2018 might be a good start. My younger one would be 3 by then and would be in nursery. I know it is extremely stressful with young children at home especially. But the only reason i thought of doing it now is because my younger one would be in nursery 8-5 or 6, so i wouldnt really have to worry about after school clubs or breakfast club and all of that for him considering how little he is.
Now I want to know if anyone has been able to pull it off with such young kids and also about the childcare grant. Is any grant or special funding available for parents with young kids???
