..interesting job, very challenging. but I've already got that 'not on top of things at home' feeling. DH is great, does his bit. But we have different attitides if you know what I mean. I'm more of a neat freak etc - need to relax I know.
The nanny actually texted me today and said she was sorry she hadn't seen me for ages(!) but not to worry because everything at home is fine. Very sweet of her.
On balance I'm enjoying being back. I nearly had to go to south america for 5 days next week but its been cancelled. Not sure how I'd have found that. May find out next month as I may have to go to syney!
I suppose I feel a bit guilty because I don't seem to be that upset at being away from home a lot.

Tonton, don't beat yourself up! Sometimes I miss being at home and sometimes I am delighted not to be there.

what ages are your children?

and how long is it since you've seen your nanny? sounds like she's concerned she's not seen you for a while?

Have you got a cleaner? if both you and dh arre working full time, spend your free time with your dc, anc pay someone else to do the cleaning.

So, you are feeling guilty about not feeling guilty? That is crazy. You job sounds fab.

As for being a neat freak, I agree get a cleaner.

If you (or the nanny) is feeling that communication is lacking, I would suggest a nanny diary if you don't already have one.

You can get a really good one here: My Day Diaries
