Dbs check?

So i am thinking of volunteering and this requires an enhanced dbs check by the organisation. About 3 years ago i had a horrible experience of being falsely accused of smacking and abusing my child in a shopping centre. Police came and took name and address and told me there would be no follow up and that nothing would be recorded on any databases (my daughter was fine obviously and was running about and laughing). However now that i think abt it, i wonder how true this is!?

Unless you received a caution or a conviction, then there will be nothing to worry about. :)

If you wasn’t arrested or charged nothing at all will show up so don’t worry

it was a horrible thing to happen and I still feel so wronged about it. just worried as they took name and address. I am more than happy to disclose the incident as it was a baseless allegation, but nonetheless not quite sure what an enhanced dbs shows (or not) so wanted to check here. I know honesty is the best policy :)
