Black shoes, black cotton trousers (maybe smart fashionable jeans for retail), plain top/blouse/tunic (maybe a suit jacket for admin and retail -depending on the workplace).

Can you get a cheap pair of black trousers form Asda/Primark

I'd never wear jeans to an interview. Do you have any smart dresses?

Jeans are not suitable for job interviews first customer facing roles (when you are talking about unskilled work all they care about is presentation and reliability) . Nude shoes are only suitable in warm weather. For the cleaner job I would say as long as you look neat then that is what counts if it is home cleaning type work. If it is for a hotel or something then again you must wear smart casual.

all my smart stuff is in storage. going to have to wait until I can get some stuff out of there or afford something smart. its so hard though, having to afford all the stuff I need to wear etc. and a babysitter just to INTERVIEW when I may not get the job anyway. its all back to front, you need the money to get the job to get the money
