Awful Phased Return To Work

Been off for two months suffering with stress, this was brought on by bad relationship with LM and even after highlighting to management nothing changed. A new colleague started back in October and I trained her up until my sick leave. Just returned to work (second week) and she's been a bit off with me to say the least. I have been nothing but pleasant, thanking her for all her efforts making polite conversation and not mentioning the problems which caused me to be off with LM. Not sure how to approach, whether to ask outright where there is a problem or do I just persevere - I just want to have a pleasant working environment.

Carry on being professions, don't care so much about " friendly" - focus on pleasant, factual and getting on with your role. You have no visibility of any discussions this "off" colleague has had with management to skew their opinion, nor their agenda, so don't bother trying to find out, as these things never end well when the politics kicks in.

Focus in you, and staying mentally strong and well.
