Anyone else want a career change?

Before I had my baby I worked as a makeup artist however the shifts on counter don't suit family life and I'd like to increase my earning potential.

Any one else experienced doing a short course to career change? If so what was it?

I need to make sure the study programme suits me in terms of time too. Interested to hearing stories of how people juggled study with childcare also.

I've recently decided to go back to college to study science.

Sort of hit me a few months ago how much I didn't want to spend the rest of my life doing accounts.

Have you tried looking to see if there's anything on the Open University or something similar? I believe it's all study at home. You could continue to be a makeup artist part time while studying at home?

Thanks. I will have a look at Open University. I kind of like the idea of going somewhere to learn but not all the time, maybe a blend between online and supported. I wouldn't really want to go to a college with lots of really young people.
