Job Title Error

I’ve just been told my role will probably be made redundant along with all the other roles with the same job title within my company.

When I’ve checked my contract (signed) and my offer letter (not signed) I’ve discovered that I was initially given a different job title and I know I’ve never signed anything to say this has changed.

Can they make my role redundant if it doesn’t actually have the same job title as the others?

If yousigned your contract with a different job title to the redundant offer letter one didit make a difference in the end?

Ahh, thanks for the reply. No it makes no difference apparently. It’s the role you are doing not what your job title says that is made redundant.
