Emotional well-being workshops

Would really appreciate any thoughts on this idea...

I'm a clinical psychologist currently on mat leave. I work part time in the nhs and also do some private therapy. In the past I have seen quite a few people in my private clinic who don't really 'need' individual therapy but do have some difficulties but there isn't a lower intensity option available privately and for various reasons they can't or don't want to go the nhs route. I feel bad about charging these people for expensive individual work when I think a few group sessions would help at least some of them.

For this reason I have wondered for a while about offering some group workshops on topics like self compassion, low self esteem, perfectionism, wellbeing after having a baby and so on.

Would you be interested in this kind of thing? How much would you pay for half/full day? I'm on the outskirts of a big city (not London). Would it make a difference if a percentage of fee was donated to charity?

Thank you Smile

Hi op. Its a popular thing to do so there must be a market for it. Go for it
