I have received very good advice here several times in the past when attempting to expand my work. Unfortunately my means hae become more and more limited as my life fell apart but I'm now ina position to strat again on the work front...

I have been offered discounted use of a local venue where I plan to offer drop in parent and toddler/baby style sleep/behaviour advice clinics.

Would like to ask; what would you like to see if you were to attend something like this?

For me, I would like someone to actually have shown me how to do certain techniques ( ie hush/pat, PU/PD) as I could never really work out if I was doing it right or wrong. I would have liked someone to say 'No do it like this' etc. I would have loved someone to come over at bedtime so see what exactly was happening & what the actual issues were as sometimes I didnt know why my DS wouldnt sleep. The solution seems to be determined by the problem, but what if you dont know the problem??

Maybe also a mentoring system which partners you with someone who has been through it or is going though it now as well?

BTW, why dont you post this on the sleep forum as well? People on there may have used a sleep clinic or considered using one.

Hope that helps. Off to sleep now

oops, I think someone who can speak English might be first on the list...

Glad one of you understood what I meant!
