Am applying for a promotion at work in a completely different business area though in same kind of field. I have just been told that I have to do a 5 min presentation on what the challenges of the role are likely to be. There is a huge change programme afoot which is what I think they want to hear about.

Has anyone got any tips for a good presentation? I have never done an interview presentation but don’t want to just talk at them for 5 minutes. Any ideas of how I can engage the panel, be remotely interesting etc? I would be so grateful for any practical suggestions

Many thanks

I've been interviewing recently (for the first time in 20 years) and have had to do a few of these. Google '5 minute presentations' - there's loads of ideas out there esp things like how to engage your audience (eg by opening with a question). 5 mins seems like an age when you're preparing a presentation but it flies by when you're making it. Good luck!
