I've been working in IT Project Management for over 10 years and I cannot begin to put into words how boring I find it. My current job will come to an end soon owing to the Brexit thingy so it seems like the perfect opportunity to lmove into doing something else. I'm also a linguist but never get to use my languages as everyone speaks English. Teaching is not going t o be an option as I'm a single mother and couldn't take such a massive pay cut to go through the PCGE process.

Has anyone been to see a career coach? How did they find it? Can you recommend one in the SE (preferably Surrey)?

Look at something like the Life Coach Directory and the Association for Coaching Directory then have a chat with a few you like the sound of.

Get a proper qualified career coach with a min of posgrad in career guidance. Look at the CDI for a registered one.

I am a registered careers advisor.
