Interview outcome

So a friend went for an interview on Monday. They were told that they would call the interviewees from Friday with an outcome.
My mate has received a missed call at about half four today with a voicemail saying they would try again tomorrow afternoon.

Recruiters, what order do you make your feedback calls?

Do you call the successful one first or the unsuccessful ones first?

Successful first, just in case you need to call number 2 because number 1 has had a better offer/changed their mind.

Ok, so do you think my mate has been successful or not?

Usually successful first but can also do definite nos first if waiting for an offer to be signed off. That said it is less common for nos to get a phone call, most people email.
