Child care course then working

Can anyone help me I'm currently a stay at home mum and thinking I want to train in child care to become a nursury assistant once my little boy is at school could this be possible to do from home? Can anyone advice on courses online?

Hey I done this at college when my children were younger, and it was one day at college and you had to put in 10 hours on placement. Have a look at the open university but most courses require some sort of work experience. Hope this helps x
