Secondments

I'm really struggling as I have been on a management secondment for a few years whilst waiting for a restrructure to take place at work. Restructure now in place and all secondments have ended and I am back in my old administration role. Can't helping thinking I have grown so much and that I'm being wasted where I am in a job I used to love but now bores me. Anyone else relate to this ?

Well yes, if you have been in a management role for a few years of course you are wasted and bored in an admin role again. It would be odd if you didn’t feel like that!

I’m assuming there are no suitable vacancies where you work, are you looking elsewhere?

Thanks for the reply. No jobs in the organisation and I am looking elsewhere. If I don't find anything I am just going to be stuck maybe as time passes I will get used to it again. Just struggling at the moment and frustrated with my current role.
