Evening work..

This isn't really a back to work but didn't know where else to put!

So I'm self employed..I currently work a 55 hour week on average. I start at 7.30 through till around 5.15. I'm very quiet with work though (childminder) and am panicking re how I'll cope.
I can't do anything else through the day as obviously with children so I thought about evening work. A job popped up yesterday, its 35 hours a week, evenings..pays great and I'd enjoy it..BUT I'd never see dp anymore. We live apart as it is (distance wise) and I'm really not sure what to do. I need work, they've given me an interview already which is great as works so hard to get..I know it doesn't mean I'll get but if I do???
What would you do?

Not a chance. Not whilst working those hours as a childminder, anyway.

What hours would you be working in the new job? When would you ever see your DP/catch up on sleep/have any time to yourself?

I did 2 jobs for a while but I was only 35hrs in my first and 12hrs in the second and it was very tiring. I got fed up of never being able to go anywhere in the evening or a weekend (I worked a few hrs on Sat in job2) and gave one up in the end.

Thanks mickey. I know you're right and know after a while I'll struggle massively. I think I'll aim for a job with slightly less hours and go from there.
