Notice periods

Hi. I work for a start up and it's feeling rocky. I am on a 3 month notice period contractually. Would they gave to pay this if they made me redundant?

They can issue you notice and make you work all or part of it. You would only get paid in lieu if for some reason they don't want you to work it.
