Maternity - did nursery vouchers stop?

Law is now that they don't need to be paid whilst on maternity leave - so mine will stop. Now finding out that other women in same firm but different departments are still getting them in a discretionary basis. If your manager pushes and says you have a legitimate expectation to receive them you'll get them. Not happened to me.

Not sure what you’re looking for.

If they’re a company provided perk, like a company car, they have to be provided through maternity. It’s pissible that others have them as a contractual right.

If you sacrifice some of your salary in order to have tax free vouchers they don’t continue. It’s pretty simple.

Not contractual. Law changed approx 1.5 years ago therefore no longer need to be provided. Just wondering if other companies have taken the view that if they don't need to provide it let's not (even hough it's only going to affect a small no of employees at any one time)

Most companies, I’d have thought. Current economic climate means throwing money at employees isn’t going to happen unless legally dictated.
