Leaflets & advertising advice

I am starting up a small company in the south side of Glasgow, I am looking for advice re advertising it. Any good tips from anyone or general advice. It's a party business, predominantly for kids. I have leaflets printed but worried about distribution rules n regs.

No idea re rules and regs but I’d be going round all the local shops, cafes and art galleries etc asking to leave leaflets there.

Get yourself on Google Maps via your website. It's free and most people look on Google first!

Start a Facebook Group for your business.

Get some cheap Business cards (they cost me 3.99 for 50 on Ebay) and hand these out to people you know to give to people they know.

Get on as much social media as possible as this gives free advertising plus add you website link to push up your site too.

Advertise on Craig's list and other free advertising platforms.

Theres more too! Just think outside of the box! :)

Can you drop leaflets at all the nurseries and schools in your area - if you go in person to ask them, you won't need to worry about rules and regs
