CMI Level 7 Diploma - Strategic Management and Leadership

I’m just wondering if anyone has studied for this and if so would they recommend it and the training provider they used for distance learning?

I’m having a bit of a midlife crisis career wise and just want a challenge and something to reinvigorate my career plans. I work in marketing but want to broaden my qualifications and work at a senior level.

Many thanks.

Is CIM well regarded in your organisation or would you be better off doing an msc?

(I'm not in marketing but a v closely related field in a large multinational- my colleagues generally have not done CIM)

Also: do you want to be senior or specialist (e.g. Digital) - which would suit you more / open morecareer doors

I was actually thinking of the Chartered Institute of Management as I have a CiM qualification from years ago. I work for a smallish company and no particular benefit in my specific company to the qualification, it’s more for my knowledge.

I am already working on the senior leadership team so can’t really be promoted any further as already report to the CEO. It’s a tricky one longer term. Thanks for your response, I will think on it further.
