Anyone put a complaint in about their Union??

We got told a few weeks before Easter that the school had a huge deficit and some jobs must go (as of September), I approached the union (we have no rep) and requested support .I spoke to someone at their county office( -message will be passed on ) and emailed them with all my contact information.
Many other people did the same. Not one of us had any response back and still haven't and 2 people have lost their jobs (short term contract and will not be renewed)
Any suggestions on what to do about the union?

It may well be on their website as they tend to be the main spokespeople. Good luck. They really have let you down

Don't think they could have saved the 2 people anyway (contracts up in July and had been less than a year) but we are worried it may happen again next year.

Which union? UNISON and the GMB both have websites which should contain details. Good luck, sorry to hear your branch doesn't seem to be running properly.

UNISON
