Been self employed for 6 years age 23. I got an interview for the first job I applied for recruitment consultant. They’ve invited me back on Monday for second interview any idea what kind of questions they might ask me. Any I should ask them it’s my first proper job and I’m super nervous

It’s essentially a sales job so if you good recruitment consultant skills set it should give you an idea.

I would say ask you’ve been self employed for so long you would love recruitment as you’re essentially running your own little business within a wider business known as your ‘desk’.

Salary will be a basic and commission based so you could ask a bit about their rewards structure. Also ask about what desk they might want you to do and then research the market. E.g office support , hr, IT. Ask about training on offer - good sales training and support is very important.

It’ll be a target driven environment. Good luck!

I should have said ‘google’ in the first sentence

And ‘as’ rather than ‘ask’

Thank you they liked that I had been self employed
