I've not worked for 13 years and am lucky that financially don't have to.
However I am feeling that when youngest starts secondary school I may want to work. I was in sales for a large corporate company but don't want to return to that even if I could but I really don't know even where to look?
When I google I just get agencies, the local papers no later beer have anything other than pyramid selling. My last job was in The. Grocer magazine- does that even exist still?

Not only do I not know what I want to do. I don't even know where to look Blush

What field of work do you want to get into?

Guardian jobs is quite good as is 'indeed' and 'total jobs'

There are also a number of sector-specific ones, like 'charity jobs' depending on what industry you'd like to go into.

I'm in the same boat as you OP! No idea how or where to start to look for a job. Sorry no help but hopefully somebody will come along soon with some tips.

I would go and have a chat with a friendly recruitment / career adviser. They will help you sort out what you would like to do, what you're skilled & qualified to do, what you would need to do to get qualified or upskill.
There are jobs out there now that wouldn't have even existed 13 years ago, so they will be able to suggest some of those.
Try to get some basic things clarified - do you want a public-facing role, charity or corporate, how far would you be prepared to commute, 5 days or less, ambitious or not so much, etc.
