working together/cop-operatives

I have a small business, but would like to join other small businesses in a larger property where we all work together in a joint enterprise/co-operative.

I know they exist because I've watched programmes about them, but despite searching on the internet can not find what I am looking for/thinking of.

Does anyone have any ideas what they are called/how they work and any I can have a look at through their websites? Anything just to point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance

kind of - but I'm sure I saw something on the TV where a group of people - eg someone selling honey, pies, olive oils, soaps, flowers had all got together and were kind of creating a large shop but were self employed. I don't think I'm explaining myself very well!

I guess it's like an 21st indoor market with artisan things.

I know what I mean when I see it!

Like a craft co-op they do that

You have to set up as a company first with directors then go from there

If you look on the site there - there is info

Aren't they more based around living together, then working together to support the commune/community?
What about shared working space? There are often those around, I know a few in Midlands.
